Campiglia Construcciones introduced EBITAL, a business unit focused on the implementation of major projects. The new company was established expecting that the country would enter a period of major investment, both on the public and private sectors.

Campiglia Construcciones, a company with over 30 years of experience, presented in partnership a unit of the group dedicated exclusively to carrying out large projects for third parties, which in recent years has successfully participated in the largest civil engineering works that were carried out in the country.

 "People often ask me which the key to our success and permanence is. And now more than ever I am convinced that it is our values, as professionals and as people," said Eduardo Campiglia, director of Campiglia Construcciones.

Five years ago, the changes in the world and in the country led Campiglia to break into a promising new venture.

"We anticipate a significant investment boom," said Germán Campiglia, director of Campiglia Constructions. In this regard, and foreseeing the large volume of works of magnitude that were coming into the country at that time, the company decided to create a new business unit called EBITAL S.A. which seen the light in 2005.

To serve this market we had to generate a business unit with highly qualified professionals who were able to meet the needs of large customers and participate in large projects.

The director of the company said that after five years of development and seeing the projects constructed, "we confirmed that we were right to put our money into EBITAL".

Meanwhile, Elbio Olaizola, director and general manager for EBITAL said the consolidation of the new company "was a huge challenge."

He also said to be pleased with the way taken by the new business unit, whose path "never deviated from the values ​​on which Campiglia Construcciones was built".

In the same vein, Germán Campiglia stressed that "EBITAL is supported by the values ​​that Campiglia Construcciones practices on a daily basis, like harmonious human relationships, the constant pursuit of excellence, thinking first of all on the client and being prepared to think long term."

EBITAL S.A. fulfilled the need that Campiglia Construcciones had to expand its offering of services, adding to its already recognized real estate development services, an area dedicated to engineering and construction services for third parties that during this time captured within the market the realization of major projects.

The Botnia plant, the new Carrasco International Airport, the Executive Tower, the completion of the last stage of the National Auditorium Adela Reta of the SODRE, are some of the most important projects in which EBITAL took part.

Currently, the company is devoted to the construction of Tower 4 of the World Trade Center, which will become the highest corporate building of the country with its 42 floors.

Furthermore, Olaizola said "EBITAL prepares to face major projects such as the construction of Nuevocentro Shopping and the Science Park on route 101".

"Today, five years after that birth, we are showing you the new image of the business unit. A new milestone on this path we travel, as always, looking further and aiming even higher," concluded Olaizola.
