2009 will be a very important year for Campiglia Construcciones since it will be finishing three of the country's most emblematic construction projects: Carrasco Airport, the Executive Tower (new headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic) and Sodre, which has just been awarded with the aim to be completed this year. And on top of that, the company continues its building its projects in Malvín and Buceo. "2009 will be a very good year" said Eduardo Campiglia, the company’s director. Commercially, he told us, curiously enough, we are selling at a good rhythm the most expensive apartment on the sea front buildings, and those buyers are mainly investors. The firm is about to launch the Aquarius building, located on the Rambla and Colombes Street, while exploring green technologies, which is one of the new trends in construction. One of these applications will be applied to the new presidential tower using solar panels as part of power generation.
